Lesson 10 of 14
In Progress

Introduction & learning outcomes

A well-structured script is generally a script that is easy to film and, from the point of view of the receivers, will also be a video that is easy to watch and understand. One of the advantages of preparing a good script before making your videos is that it brings out the best in you, getting lots of good ideas for your videos.

Putting an ordering system in place for the ideas for your videos helps you get a better result because by writing a script you will know exactly what has to happen at each moment, how it has to happen, and above all why it has to happen. By organising the scripts you will know how you have to approach each part of the video, scene and shot.

After this lesson, you will be able to:

  • Know how to plan the production of a video
  • Understand the purpose of scriptwriting
  • Identify the structure of scripts
